Feeding South Florida® is inspiring area residents to walk/run miles for meals to end hunger and register for its 6th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K Walk/Run presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc., taking place on Saturday, March 12, 2016, 7–10 a.m. The 5K will kick off at Charnow Park, located at 300 Connecticut Street, Hollywood, FL 33019, and will happen along the acclaimed Hollywood Beach Broadwalk and beach area in Hollywood.

Participants can simply walk or run to make a big difference in the effort to end hunger for 785,040 residents of Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties who are food insecure. Funds collected will help Feeding South Florida to achieve its mission: to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
