This July 16, Miami will bleed yellow, blue and red to celebrate Colombia’s Independence Day with well-known artists Jorge Celedón, El Grupo Niche and Reykon. The all-day MegaRumba Colombia will bring Colombians together in Miami to celebrate their heritage. Everyone is welcome to join the festivities in honor of the land of beautiful women, great food and a thousand rhythms.
MegaRumba Colombia has invited a select group of artists to perform at this year’s Colombian Independence Day celebration, which will also include folkloric dance groups and a showcase of Colombian Paso Fino horses throughout the day. The Budweiser sponsored event will offer Colombian folklore, hand-made arts & crafts and Colombian food for sale. This year’s celebration will go back to its original location at Tamiami Park, where parking is for free!
Comedian Alejandro Ospina will emcee the main stage during prime time hours, which will feature urban music singer Reykon and El Grupo Niche, who is shaking the world of Colombian salsa and fulfilling the musical legend left by the late Maestro Jairo Varela. To close out the Colombian Independence Day festival, MegaRumba will feature world-renowned idol of Vallenato music, Jorge Celedón, winner of the 2007 and 2014 Latin Grammy.
Tickets start at $15, and can be pre-purchased online at www.MegaRumbaColombia.com
