Brosia, a Mediterranean restaurant in Miami’s Design District, will serve as host to a fundraiser and networking event for The Fairchild Palms from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 22, at 163 NE 39th St.
The event is open to the public. A $10 suggested donation will be collected at the entrance to support the Fairchild Challenge, a South Florida-based environmental education and conservation program credited for leading a green revolution in schools nationwide.
Brosia will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Arthur Artiles along with a complimentary glass of its signature sangria. As they mingle with the Palms’ group of young professionals, guests also may enjoy two-for-one drink specials in Brosia’s distinctive ambience, which includes a canopy of white oak trees and handcrafted sea-tone mosaic mural. A cash bar also will be provided. In addition, attendees who stay for dinner that evening at Brosia will receive 10% off their checks.
The Fairchild Palms is a group of young professionals networking for a cause and dedicated to ensure the future of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden by attracting, recruiting and engaging active members. All proceeds of its events benefit the Fairchild Challenge, the Garden’s competitive environmental outreach program for middle- and high-school students. To learn more, visit www.fairchildgarden.org.
