Determined to keep the music alive this season, Pinecrest Gardens, South Florida’s Cultural Arts Park, is hosting ‘JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl’ to help feed America and bring jazz masters to the homes and hearts of viewers nationwide. Saxophonist, singer and composer Grace Kelly is the next featured artist scheduled to perform in the concert series. At just 28, Kelly already has 13 acclaimed albums and has performed with the likes of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Gloria Estefan, in addition to Jon Batiste’s house band for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Additionally, Kelly’s original composition “Feels Like Home” won Song of the Year in the 2018 John Lennon Songwriting contest.
Kelly’s concert will broadcast live from the acoustically magnificent Banyan Bowl at Pinecrest Gardens at 8 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 27. During the remaining JazzAid Live season, jazz fans also can enjoy performances by pianist, composer and bandleader Joey Alexander and multi-Grammy Award winning The Manhattan Transfer. The cost is $15 for an individual performance and $40 for the remaining three shows, with a generous portion of ticket sales being donated to World Central Kitchen. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pinecrestgardens.org/jazzaid.
