Join Oolite Arts for the opening of two spectacular fall exhibits: “Rosie’s Fare” by Germane Barnes pays tribute to the artist’s grandmother and celebrates black traditions and contributions to American cuisine that are often removed or ignored. While “Miami is Not the Caribbean. Yet It Feels Like It,” a group exhibition curated by Danny Baez, gets artists of Caribbean heritage to think about their own personal relationships to Miami and whether they view it as a Caribbean city. Both exhibitions will be on display October 20 -December 11 and during Art Basel, at 924 and 928 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
