Join the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center for “Revelations In Rhythm” starring Marshall L. Davis, Jr. and directed by special guest star Savion Glover on May 27 starting at 7:30 pm. The performance takes place at the Lou Rawls Center for the Performing Arts at Florida Memorial University, 15800 NW 42nd Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33054. The riveting live performance is a celebration of African rhythms and American Tap Dance which examines tap’s sacred traditions and music created by Blacks as a form of spiritual practice, prayer, and praise during enslavement.
