Fort Lauderdale’s iconic Mexican restaurant Lona Cocina & Tequileria is giving tequila enthusiasts something special to look forward to with its upcoming A Taste of Mexico: Chef’s Pairing Dinner. The unforgettable dining experience features a vibrant multi-course tasting menu by Lona’s new Executive Chef Juan Carlos Peña. The evening showcases an artfully prepared meal with a historical approach to Mexican cuisine in mind, designed to complement the unique flavors of each featured tequila.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Chef’s Pairing Dinner on Wednesday, October 18, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a pink-themed Mexican culinary journey curated by Chef Peña, expertly paired with selections from the Volcan de Mi Tierra Tequila portfolio. The tasting menu for the evening will feature Pink Parsnip in chipotle sauce with beans; Duck Enchilada in pink mole; and Milk & Strawberry Panna Cotta for dessert. Each course will be accompanied by an expert tequila pairing.
