The Annual King Mango Strut, Coconut Grove’s famous and most iconic satirical parade is set to return Sunday, January 7, 2024. Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, the Parade will feature all the color, vibrancy, laughter and mischievousness that has been its hallmark for four decades. To that end, this year’s theme – I Can’t Get No DeSantisfaction – is sure to raise a few eyebrows and certainly maintains the parade’s reputation as a tongue-in-cheek, satirical affair.

The parade is free and open to the public. Parade organizers welcome all comedians, amateurs and performers to consider participating in the parade itself; applications to do so can be found here.

As always, onlookers are encouraged to wear their most creative costumes and embrace the parade’s madcap ethos to “celebrate and skewer what’s weird and wonderful about Miami and the year that was.”
