As part of her Noche de Arte residency, Ms. Gómez del Valle invites special guests for various art engagements each week. On October 14th, join us for a Workshop on Image Transfer hosted by Jean & Iggy Font in the Gallery Lounge of InterContinental Miami Hotel!

About the Artist: Mirta Gómez was born in Havana, Cuba. She is the recipient of numerous artist fellowships. Her photography work has been exhibited internationally and is in the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art, NY and others.
Mirta Gómez del Valle is Emeritus Professor of Art/Photography at Florida International University in Miami where she taught from 1983 until her retirement in 2019.

About Jean & Iggy: Jean Blackwell Font and Ignacio Font, artists and creative visionaries co-founded collaboARTive in the vibrant Bird Road Art District. This innovative space is dedicated to fostering collaboration among artists and promoting their work through community-oriented initiatives.

Noche de Arte is open to the public and free to attend. collaboARTive presents this program in partnership with InterContinental Miami Hotel, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Miami Downtown Development Authority, and with support from the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
