Timeless Traditions: Ballet & Zarzuela
Celebrating Latin American classical music with an afternoon, featuring performances by pianist Maestro Isaac Rodriguez, soprano Laura de Mare, and the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami. The program will include excerpts from Gonzalo Roig’s Cecilia Valdez, a zarzuela, alongside a suite honoring composer Ernesto Lecuona and selections from Maria la O. The performance will also showcase Latin American waltzes and contemporary pieces by composers from Brazil, Mexico, and Peru.
