Experience an extraordinary Art Week 2024 at Mandarin Oriental, Miami from December 2nd through December 8th. The hotel’s diverse Art Week experiences include exclusive installations by renowned artists Stefania Nazzal, Shawn Kolodny, and Christopher “Flore” Florentino whose works will be on display throughout the property. To kick off, a live mural activation will take place with Christopher Flore on Monday, December 2nd at 4 PM – it will be open to the public. To create an immersive experience, the glamorous lobby bar, MO Bar + Lounge, will present three signature cocktails ($24 each), each inspired by the unique works of the featured artists.
At the property’s MICHELIN recommended La Mar by Gastón Acurio, guests will be immersed in an artful experience that touches all the senses. The vibrant setting will be adorned with inspiring artworks from artists such as Abel Bentin, one of the most recognized Peruvian artists, and Manolo Perez. Don’t miss a live painting session by Perez on December 5th, starting at 6:30 pm at La Mar. Guests will have the opportunity to experience his work in progress. With Executive Chef Diego Oka being a ceramic artist in his own right, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the newly launched “AMANO by Oka” tasting menu experience. As Miami’s most art-infused dining journey, each of the eight courses is presented on hand-crafted ceramic plates made by Chef Oka himself, merging his culinary and pottery passions. Additionally, a collaboration with Terratela sustainable t-shirts, thoughtfully crafted from repurposed produce waste, will feature a limited-edition design inspired by La Mar. The T-shirts will be available for purchase on-site.
