Drzewiecki performed his first concert tour at the age of six in Japan appearing with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra. Winner of many prestigious awards, among which are the Grand Prix Award of the 1999 European Television Competition, the 10th Eurovision Grand Prix for young musicians in 2000 and he is the youngest ever laureate ever accorded the Paszport Polityki Award in his native Poland. Vladimir Ashkenazy declared: “Stanislaw Drzewiecki represents an exceptional talent. Despite his young age he is a remarkable interesting musician with perfect piano technique.”
