SHAKESPEARE GOES TO THE OPERA
Presented by Amici dell’Arte, Hispanic-American Lyric Theatre, and Shakespeare Miami

Join us for an afternoon of music, poetry and scenes from or based on Shakespeare’s work.
…Classically trained singers; Melissa Ruiz, Ravenna Maer, Joanne Martinez Von Gonten, Jennifer Maurel, Jennifer Mathews, Raymond Storms, Mark Antonio De Villiers, Ismael Gonzalez, Armando Naranjo and other Amici perform selections from Falstaff, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Romeo et Juliette and other operas based on Shakespeare’s plays, sonnets and poems.

Actors from Shakespeare Miami contribute Monologues and scenes from Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, Henry V and more.
