To commemorate the three-year anniversary of Whole Foods Market – Coral Gables, the store is hosting its 3rd Annual Culinary Clash with “Battle of the South Beach Steakhouses Chefs†featuring chef/owner Sean Brasel of Meat Market and chef Albert Cabrera of STK.
Taking place on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., the event, which is free and open to the public, is the perfect way for novice chefs, foodies and burgeoning gourmets to get up close and personal with two of the area’s top chefs.
Back by popular demand, the competing chefs in the Iron Chef-inspired battle will go head-to-head with only one hour to complete three original dishes, all containing a secret ingredient. Each dish will be judged by a panel of judges: Miami Herald Edgy Veggie columnist Ellen Kanner; Miami New Times food blogger Riki Altman and Rashne Desai of Whole Foods Market – Florida.
