Playing the Game of Lifeâ„  (PGLâ„ ), a turn-key program for teaching social skills through an arts-based curriculum, opens registration for a new, innovative, and fun-filled semester from January to June 2011. Children, teens and adults have the opportunity to enjoy different classes such as Yoga, Rhythmic Arts, Fine Arts, Nutritional Education and Cooking, Filmmaking, Creative Movement, and Parent & Me classes, among others. The PGLâ„  Enrichment Center is located at 7144 Byron Ave, Miami Beach, Florida, 33141.

At PGL℠, families can plan their children’s after-school activities or choose from a variety of enrichment classes for themselves. “Our concept is progressive and incorporates a (w)holistic* approach in serving both the parent and the child. We have created an epicenter for all to come and tap into their creative side while providing a positive a safe place. We strive to offer quality and FUN and trust that this is what you will find when you come to our Enrichment Center”, said Jeannette Blanca Egozi, President of PGL℠.

The PGLâ„  program is unique in that it uses the arts to develop social emotional learning and instill the values that are necessary to promote the development of peaceful and effective communication and relationships. It educates the participants in positive conflict resolution, anti-bullying, stress reduction techniques, expression of feelings, self esteem building, self-awareness and self control. It also focuses on character building attributes such as respect, positive communication, leadership, team building, anti-bullying and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.

Playing the Game of Life℠ (PGL℠) is a turn-key approach, created in 2006, which has the mission to develop social skills, build positive character attributes, and promotes life-long wellness through arts-based prevention programs. It is offered to children, adolescents and adult groups and, in order to carry out its mission, program uses different tools such as Positive Communication and Life Skills℠, Creative Movement, Meditation, Rhythmic Art, Performance Art, Fine Art and Filmmaking, Nutritional Education and Organic Cooking, Career Discovery and Exploration and Conscious Discipline®. PGL was created and is currently directed by Jeannette Blanca Egozi, President of ECQC, LLC. This company, founded in 2004, is a pioneer in developing quality alternative and (w)holistic* programming. Egozi is a Certified Mental Health Professional, an Internationally Certified Stress Management Consultant, earned a Peace Mediation Certificate from the University of Spiritual Healing
and Sufism, is a Teacher, and has a Masters in Speech Language Pathology.
