Sage Lifestyles, a new boutique, will host its grand opening party
Friday, April 8, 7 to 10 p.m.
211 NE 98 St.,
Miami Shores.
The bash will feature artwork by Drago Milic and angel readings by Cory Silvestri .
Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails by SX Liquors, bites by Ocean Prime and live music by Miami’s DJ Induce.
Safe Lifestyles will donate 10 percent of the party’s proceeds to Hurricane Pets Rescue.
Sage Lifestyles is your one-stop shop for holistic and spiritual wellness.
The boutique is the creation of yoga instructor, certified angel therapy and Reiki practitioner Ivonne Ledesma, who wanted to offer consumers products that incorporate a connection with nature, spirituality, wellness and creativity. A majority of the inventory comes from local designers and artists including prints by Valentina Ramos, artwork by Drago Milic, BodyUP yoga clothing, Cedar Cove soaps and Soy Candela candles. There are also gifts and accessories by Natural Life and Curly Girl Design. Donation-based angel readings are done on premises by Ledesma, who received her certification from Doreen Virtue.
Sage not only carries crystals and incense, but spiritual-themed fairy and angel cards. A trendy and chic space, gift-givers will love the humorous themed books, air plants, and inspired home accessories.
About DJ Induce
Just as the things we want the most are the hardest to attain, DJ Induce, while gaining an increasing amount of exposure over the last few years, has been and will remain a rarity in his field – one which, at least in Miami, he could have arguably created. Yet, he is far from unknown. Reared on early to mid-ninety’s Hip Hop, Induce would study and recreate the clean, simple, yet classic scratches first created by the masters in order to create the unique style of DJing he calls his own.
Gliding through the genres without feeling out of place, Induce has become the go-to DJ in Miami for those seeking that next sound. Whether he is needed to create an atmosphere for The Miami Art Museum’s open house, poolside at the world-renowned Fontainebleau Hotel, making indie hipsters pump their fists until 5am at Miami’s 9 year indie staple, Poplife, or keeping the sweat drenched grown folks feeling sexy with his classic disco sets, it is no wonder why he was voted by the Miami New Times as best club DJ of 2008.
Induce also continually releases DJ mixes; many available for download on the Hometeam Podcast in the iTunes store, including an exquisite mix recorded live at LA’s legendary Do-Over party. Under the name, Midnight Moroders, he has also teamed with fellow Miami DJ’s, including Danny Daze (of DiscoTech) to produce a masterful mix of Italo-Disco, ranging from the rare to the classic Italo favorites.
