Opening Reception for Like Cats and Dogs

What: Gallery Reception and fundraiser featuring works from faculty and students from Miami International University of Art & Design, surrounding universities and local artists. Handmade ceramic multi-use tiles will be available for $10.00 each with all proceeds going to two local “no kill” shelters: Pet Rescue and Paws4you.

When: Opening Reception July 16, 2009 5pm-8pm
Exhibition opens July 16 and continues through August 14
On-Site Pet Adoption will be available on the day of the Opening

Where: Main Gallery of Miami International University of Art & Design, 1501 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, Fl 33132

Who: Surrounding universities will be submitting pieces along with local artists and Miami International University of Art & Design students, faculty and staff.

Cost: Gallery is open to the public at no cost from 8am – 8pm,
Monday – Saturday. Parking is available in the Omni Garage for $6.00 per hour.
