Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Business Improvement District, Friday Night Sound Waves welcomes locals and visitors, the young and the young at heart, to enjoy some of South Florida’s best musical talents, performing an eclectic range of genres ranging from Classic Rock to Latin Jazz, and Top 40 to Tribute Bands. The LOOP will also host special performances throughout the month of April on select Saturday and Sunday afternoons in recognition of Jazz Appreciation Month in coordination with the weekend Markets. It will also host two concerts by the Navy Rock Band on Sunday, April 23, from 5–6 p.m. and Saturday, April 29, from 4–5:30 p.m during Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale.

The Pure Heart band hails from South Florida and features six seasoned professionals performing the timeless classics of the band Heart, led by Hall of Fame artists and sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson. Additionally, Pure Hearts adds some of the favorites Heart chose to remake, including “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin and “Love, Reign O’er Me” by The Who.
Formed in 2002, Mr. Nice Guy (MNG) is one of the area’s most popular classic rock groups, delivering high-energy performances of some of the best music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
